This location may be confusing as the River Mountains Trail is a hiking trail to the top of Red Mountain built in the mid-1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corp. It is located near St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. The River Mountains Loop Trail passes through the parking lot, thus it also is an access point.
