September 30, 2009 – The following information comes from mapmyride.com and was recently provided to me to answer two questions other users had.  Since this GPS route was uploaded additional trail segments have been completed, but it does give a fairly accurate feel for route, distance, and elevation gain.  Enjoy and happy riding….

  1. What is the distance around the loop?   34.22 miles
  2. What is the total elevation gain around the loop? 1558 ft.

    Hey, Gang!
I’m from out of town (Cincinnati, OH) came in on Sunday. Leaving on Saturday and I brought my bike with me. I’m interested in riding the loop but need a map so I won’t get lost. Is there such a thing and how detailed is it.

Today (3/23) I went as far as Boulder City and lost the trail or didn’t recognized any new markings. I need some help.

Where can I go to get a map or can one be emailed to me?

Have a great day. I’m hoping to do the whole thing by Friday before I head for home.

    Have a great day.
    Phil

Riding RMLT clockwise is not easy. Riding it counter-clockwise is just brutal. Either direction really is spectacular. There’s really nothing like it. I’ve been riding it since it opened.
