They are not to be disturbed even if they are on the trail and block your way.

The River Mountains are a non-motorized use area.  The River Mountains Loop Trail is a non-motorized trail.   
No ATVs, no OHVs, no motorcycles, no dirt bikes.

Swap Meet

at any Henderson Recreation center starting August 17.

     Saturday, October 3, 2009
 

Time:
       9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Where:    Promenade at the Pavilion

Set up begins at 7:30am. 
·        
Space is 10’ x 10’ on a concrete surface.
·        
Registration is required one week prior, with a two-space limit per person. 
·        
$20/space: You keep what you make in sales.
·        
Selling of firearms, food, inappropriate items, and non-outdoor gear is prohibited. 
·        
Bring your own tables and chairs.
·        
Please fill out the gear swap evaluation to help us plan another swap meet next year.

Other:

 

1.   OUTDOORS.  The NTDC Gear Swap Meet is set up to sell outdoor equipment and outdoor-related items only. Such items include, but are not limited to: tents, sleeping bags, climbing gear, backpacks, boots, rain jackets, fishing poles, folding chairs, maps, and even outdoor-related books and other miscellaneous paraphernalia (sunscreen, binoculars, waterproofing spray, collapsible doggie bowls, etc).

 

2.   ANY ITEM CAN BE SOLD FOR ANY PRICE. Likewise, sellers are free to trade their items for any other items (strictly at the seller’s discretion).

 

3.  YOU KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE. The City of Henderson does NOT get a cut of your profits unless you would like to donate to trail programs.

 

4.  PRICE TAGS. Any item sold should have a tag or card describing the item’s features. This is for the buyer’s benefit. The tag or card should include:

a.       Item name and/or description (e.g. ‘Fleece jacket’)

b.       Manufacturer (e.g. ‘North Face’)

c.       Year of manufacture/year of purchase (e.g. ‘2004’)

d.       Asking price (e.g. ‘$10.00’)

 

5.   ABSENTEEISM. If you, as a seller, leave your wares in the trust of any other person, then you receive whatever amount of money that your items were sold for in your absence.
